March Madness is a
phenomenon that grips the national sports psyche from the first
week of March through the first week of April. The 2009 National

The Ford Field in Detroit , Michigan made its college sports debut
in 2002, 32 months after breaking ground. This indoor venue breaks
the bank at nearly a half-billion dollars. Home to the Detroit
Lions, the Ford Field is superior in design and innovation, seating
65,000 for regular games, and nearly 80,000 for its super-sport
basketball events. The dome offers 132 suites ranging from a
capacity of 8-30, 8,600 club seats, and the remaining being stadium
seats. It also provides 56 permanent concession stands, 39 portable
stands, a scoreboard in each end zone that are an incredible 27 by
96 feet, as well as 4 more on the club levels.
